The purpose of the Rockledge Academy System is to create a dynamic environment of small learning communities that will challenge traditional expectations of high school education.  These small learning communities will allow students to develop success-driven attitudes and academic confidence through a focused, rigorous curriculum and a nurturing, student-focused environment.  This environment is essential as it helps to meet the needs of every student, regardless of achievement level, in order to bolster success.  To further motivate success-driven students, our academies rely heavily on student-community interaction in order to challenge our future leaders to be problem solvers while also giving them the social skills needed to be successful in these endeavors.  Beyond this, and also at the practical level, our academies work to supply industry needs and meet industry standards.  Through these exciting and innovative academies, Rockledge High school will educate the leaders of tomorrow and give students the tools they need to be successful in this changing new world.

The Rockledge High School Academy of Sports, Entertainment & Tourism Management (SET) is designed to provide students a learning gateway to the opportunities within the sports, entertainment and hospitality/tourism industries.  RHS is proud to promote this academy and provide students a distinctive opportunity to learn through rigorous courses, outside classroom experiences, project-based learning, and internships through a small learning community format.  The students will be encouraged to participate in DECA, VICA, and FBLA as extra-curricular activities that will enhance their academy experience.
